   Didn't make it to the Heartline social tonight?

How much do you recycle?  Our members heard tonight about how Kirklees Council are striving to improve the amount of waste we limit from the landfill sites.

Many of us thought we were quite "green" only to discover that in some areas we are not being effectively green.  Because of the mechanisms in place there are still many items which are a draw back to the process of "cleaning" recycled products.  Over the coming years it is hoped that the processers will be able to cope with items such as yoghurt pots and tetra packs but in the meantime please do not include these in your "green" bins.

Perhaps you can share any tips you may have to help other members.
